Misho Baranovic has worked as a photographer for many years and is prominent in the emerging practice of mobile street photography.
His photography has been exhibited internationally in Oakland (California), New York, Berlin, and Paola (Italy), and was included in the launch issue of Melbourne journal And Now It's In Print. He is also a regular contributor to mobile and street photography blogs and the online web broadcaster Smibs.tv.
Earlier this year, Misho exhibited photographs at the Sydney Apple Store alongside six other Australian iPhone photographers, as part of Sydney's Head On Festival 2011.
Misho's first solo show, New Melbourne, opened in June 2011. The show featured 19 street images of daily life in Melbourne, Australia. All exhibited images were taken and processed on a mobile phone. The show was well received, generating extensive national press coverage. An interview and footage from the exhibition was recently featured on the ABC TV's Art Nation program.
